Description: Iridescent golden yellow and deep pink fabric dress with wire and faux leather structured shoulders.
Artist Statement: At thirteen, inspired by some fabric I was given, I created something with it that emulated what it said to me. The fabric’s iridescent fiery glow spoke phoenix to me and the the rosey pink tint and small flowery pattern said rose to me.
Very basic and quick design sketch drawn at the age of 13.
